Snowy Day

I woke up to a snowy day,

I wanted to go outside and play.

Breakfast first, my mommy said,

So I had some milk and a scrambled egg.

I wore my snowsuit, mittens, and hat,

Put on my boots and carried my cat.

Daddy took the shovel out,

Yay! I began to clap and shout

We built a snowman quite big,

Made two hands with some sticks.

I gave it a pink scarf and a red hat,

Fixed its smile with a pat.

Mommy got a carrot for its nose,

It looked like a pretty girl, so I named her Rose!
