I went to Mom's Office one Day

I went to mom's office one day,

It was all just so cool.

If that's what office is like, I thought,

I'd choose mom's office over my school!

Her office was so big,

So fancy and clean.

Her friends gave me candies,

Oh! I felt like a queen!

My mom's desk was the best,

I saw a picture of me in there.

Computer, phone, books, and plants,

I sat next to her on a comfy chair.

Mom typed on her computer so fast,

She talked on the phone and sipped her tea.

She kept writing something in her diary,

Meetings, she said, but looked like chit-chat to me!

I began to get bored,

I wanted to talk and play, you see.

Shhhh! She asked me to be quiet,

Mommy was ignoring me!

Well, I didn't like it anymore,

I just wanted to play and run.

Perhaps mom's office is not as cool as I thought,

My school is much more fun!
